Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's soundtrack to A Star is Born has held on to its No.1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart for the second straight week.

The album added another 143,000 total sales to its tally.

As noted by Billboard, it is the second Lady Gaga album to spend more than one week on the top spot and the first since Born This Way in 2011 – all her other No.1 albums spent one week at the top of the charts.

Rolling Stone suggested that the album's success has been boosted by a week that offered little in the way of other big-name releases: Migos rapper Quavo's album Quavo Huncho rose from No.66 last week to No.2 in the charts with 99,000 total sales.

Just one "new" release managed to crack the top 10: British R&B singer Ella Mai's self titled debut.

Next week A Star is Born will face some fierce competition from Future and Juice WRLD's collaborative WRLD on Drugs, Greta Van Fleet's Anthem of the Peaceful Army, and Disturbed's Evolution.
