Nearly 50,000 Music Monday tweets were counted on December 28, with tweeters sharing the names of music and songs they liked in a tweet using the "#musicmonday" hashtag. The week's top songs included Lady Gaga's Bad Romance, two tracks from the newly released album by 30 Seconds to Mars, plus continuing favorites by Owl City, Black Eyed Peas, and Ke$ha.

This week's top three singles were Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance," "Fireflies" by Owl City, and "Meet Me Halfway" by the Black Eyed Peas, set to begin a world tour on January 19 in support of their album The E.N.D. Next in line are two singles by 30 Seconds to Mars, which held the top two slots last week following the release of the album Time of War.

Ke$ha's "TiK ToK" has remained in the top ten since its October release; her album Animal, which includes the single, was leaked on December 26, and several additional songs from the album were also popular during this week's Music Monday. The album is due out January 5.
