A backstage glimpse into the Democratic National Convention reveals all the usual - smiles, handshakes, hugs.

A flurry of glamorous celebrities wafting the halls and shaking hands with some of the most influential figures in the political game. And Barack Obama doing what Barack Obama usually does - proving he's the coolest, most laidback dude to ever have stepped foot into the White House.

A behind-the-scenes style clip released by presidential nominee Hillary Clinton's campaign caught President Obama backstage, prepping for his speech by listening to Eminem's 'Lose Yourself'.

The moment happens at the 1-minute mark and shows the President really feeling those circa-2002, "I'm about to smash this", vibes.

The President had previously revealed his favourite song of last year also came from the hip hop genre: Kendrick Lamar's 'How Much a Dollar Cost' from his soaring album, How to Pimp a Butterfly.

Obama's introductory short for his speech at the DNC was directed by Academy Award winner Davis Guggenheim, best known for the searing global warming doc, An Inconvenient Truth.
