Weekly US music releases: treats for fans of Dave Matthews and The Clash

As the year draws to a close, with major releases already out for the holiday, there are a couple of titles on sale the week of December 28 to appeal to fans of the Dave Matthews Band and The Clash with special CD/DVD sets. Next year, the focus will return to new bands and productions.

Dave Matthews Band, Europe 2009
This 3-CD box set includes a collection of virtually the entire repertoire of songs from its three-hour show on July 5 in Lucca, Italy. The accompanying DVD, Across the Pond, features the concert from O2 Academy Brixton in London, directed by Sam Erickson and shot with 10 HD cameras. The package also includes an exclusive C. Taylor Crothers’ photo book chronicling the 2009 tour.

The Clash, London Calling: 30th Anniversary Edition
This imported 2-CD set of the original 1979 album from the masters of the punk rock set also features a DVD produced by long-time videomaker Don Letts, The Last Testament: The Making of London Calling.
