The Killers' Mr Brightside has been named the greatest song of the decade by radio listeners.
The track by the Las Vegas band knocked the highest UK entry, Arctic Monkeys' I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor, into second position.
The best year of the noughties was 2004 - according to the poll compiled by Xfm - with 16 entries from that year in the top 100.
The Killers' track - which only made it to No 10 in the UK chart when it was released as a single - is one of two the band have in the top 10, with Somebody Told Me at No 9 in the poll.
The Xfm listener poll placed Sex On Fire by Kings Of Leon in third place. Although six of the top 10 tracks were by US acts, the full chart itself was dominated by UK acts with 64 of the songs.
Muse were the most popular band of the decade, with eight entries in the full list, including Knights Of Cydonia at No 4.
Elbow's One Day Like This was at No 5, followed by the anthemic Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes, Ian Brown's F.E.A.R and Last Nite by The Strokes.
MGMT completed the top 10 with their hit Kids.
Mike Walsh, head of music for the Xfm network, said: "The Killers have undoubtedly been one of the most important bands of the past 10 years, pushing guitar music into the charts worldwide and, in Mr Brightside, making one of the greatest records of all time."
