Making a third-album bid for respectability, London duo SMD forgo the electro sugar rush of their early party tunes, as well as the vocal guest spots of 2009's Temporary Pleasure, and continue to reposition themselves as serious electronic musicians.
The resulting tech-house tracks are solid, polished, dancefloor-friendly, and other damningly faint adjectives. But it's only on "Put Your Hands Together" that we're reminded of their nifty way with a vocal hook.
