Other newly added acts for the Danish festival are Kasabian, Vampire Weekend, and the Norwegian band Kings of Convenience. Additional headliners include Jack Johnson and the Danish band Nephew, while Alice in Chains, Dizzy Mizz Lizzy, and Pavement are also set to perform. A full current band list is posted on the Roskilde Festival website.
Among the largest European music festivals, Roskilde attracts more than 80,000 concertgoers and more than 180 performing bands. The 2010 festival will take place from July 1 to 4, with the campground opening for warm-up events that run from June 27 until the start of the festival.
