On February 8, Motörhead delivers its brands of raucous rock'n'roll, Cut Copy serves up electro-pop tunes and singer/songwriter Teddy Thompson offers his haunting songs.

Motörhead, The World Is Yours
Charging up to third on Amazon's metal chart, Britain's Motörhead delivers a ten-track album, plus a DVD featuring performances by Lemmy Kilmister, Philip Campbell and Mikkey Dee, including "Fast and Loose" and "Dancing on Your Grave." For the band's 35th year, the trio delivers its 20th album of "Motormusic" rock with a political bent, led by "Get Back In Line." Released on its own label UDR in the UK last December.

Cut Copy, Zonoscope
Ninth on Amazon's dance chart, this third album by Australian synth-popsters offers 11 tracks combining psychedelic-tinged pop house sounds. The foursome's collection on Modular Recordings mixed by Ben Allen (Animal Collective, Gnarls Barkley) combines percussive-driven eletro-pop led by the track "Where I'm Going." Different DVD packages include deluxe versions featuring lithographs of the cover art. http://www.cutcopy.net/

Teddy Thompson, Bella
The son of folk-rock legends Richard and Linda Thompson, Teddy follows up his 2008 album, which The Guardian declared "one of this year's best," with this, his fifth collection produced by David Kahne (The Strokes). The critically acclaimed singer-songwriter's album on Verve/Forecast reflects roots-rock influences like Roy Orbison.
