Radio: Pick of the Day

THE CAT IN THE KENNEL (2.15pm R4) a first radio play by John Hegley (right) will tickle adults and kids alike and calls to attention the woeful dearth of children's programmes on the radio. It charts Bella and Tjinda's adventures as they travel through a kennel into a wonderful world of words. They meet a horse who thinks it's a camel and a creature with an unfeasibly large mouth.
