The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, British Museum Society Great Court Appeal, attends a reception at the British Museum, London WC1. The Duke of Kent, Patron, the Hanover Band, attends the opening of the Band's new home, followed by a concert, at the Old Building, Hove, East Sussex. Princess Alexandra, President, attends a reception at the Imperial Cancer Research Fund, Lincoln's Inn Fields, London WC2.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; Nijmegen Company Grenadier Guards mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Welsh Guards.
