The Princess Royal, President, the Rural Housing Trust, attends the launch of the Rural Housing Group at the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, Westminster Centre, London SW1; as Patron, the National Autistic Society, attends a City Lunch at the BT Centre, Newgate Street, London EC1; as President, Women's Royal Naval Service Benevolent Trust, attends their Annual General Meeting at the Victory Services Club, London W2; and, as Commandant in Chief, St John Ambulance Foundation, attends the 900th Anniversary Dinner, Drapers' Hall, London EC2. The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, British Museum Society Great Court Appeal, attends a reception at the British Museum, London WC1. The Duke of Kent, Patron, the Hanover Band, attends the opening of the Band's new home, followed by a concert, at the Old Building, Hove, East Sussex. Princess Alexandra, President, attends a reception at the Imperial Cancer Research Fund, Lincoln's Inn Fields, London WC2.
Changing of the Guard
The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; Nijmegen Company Grenadier Guards mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Welsh Guards.
