The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall, undertakes engagements in the Isles of Scilly. The Princess Royal, President, the Rural Housing Trust, attends the launch of the Rural Housing Group at the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, Westminster Centre, London SW1; as Patron, the National Autistic Society, attends a City Lunch at the BT Centre, Newgate Street, London EC1; as President, Women's Royal Naval Service Benevolent Trust, attends their Annual General Meeting at the Victory Services Club, London W2; and, as Commandant in Chief, St John Ambulance Foundation, attends the 900th Anniversary Dinner, Drapers' Hall, London EC2. The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, British Museum Society Great Court Appeal, attends a reception at the British Museum, London WC1. The Duke of Kent, Patron, the Hanover Band, attends the opening of the Band's new home, followed by a concert, at the Old Building, Hove, East Sussex. Princess Alexandra, President, attends a reception at the Imperial Cancer Research Fund, Lincoln's Inn Fields, London WC2.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; Nijmegen Company Grenadier Guards mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Welsh Guards.
