The Prince of Wales visits Crown Street regeneration project - supported by the Urban Villages Forum - in the Gorbals area of Glasgow; visits the St Francis Centre in the Gorbals and, as President of the Prince's Scottish Youth Business Trust, attends a meeting at the centre; as Patron, Erskine Hospital, hosts a reception in support of the Erskine Edinburgh Initiative at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, Edinburgh; as President, the Prince's Trust, visits Maryhill Central Hall; visits, as Patron, Phoenix House in Glasgow, an adult rehabilitation service for drug addicts; visits Trades House in Glasgow where he will be presented with Honorary Membership of the Incorporation of Masons of Glasgow, Honorary Life Membership of the Incorporation of Gardeners of Glasgow and Honorary Membership of the Incorporation of Hammermen in Glasgow; visits the Millennium Canal Link project at Maryhill, and meets members and clients of the Seagull Trust; and, as President, the Prince's Scottish Youth Business Trust, hosts a dinner to mark the 10th anniversary of the trust at the Palace of Holyroodhouse. The Duke of York, Trustee, attends a Golf Day for the Outward Bound Trust, at Swinley Forest Golf Club. The Duke of Gloucester, Commissioner, English Heritage, attends the 1999 Annual Commissioner's Tour, Derbyshire. Princess Alexandra opens the Princess Alexandra Centre at Ninewells Hospital and Medical School, Dundee.
Changing of the Guard
The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; Nijmegen Company Grenadier Guards mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Scots Guards.
