Jeremy Beadle's You've Been Framed, a ratings success in the past, seems to have lost some of its popular appeal. In the series screened earlier this year, the programme peaked at an audience of 19.3 million and never dipped below 15m. The first two episodes of the new series have recorded audiences of 10.45m and 10.53m. The Sunday prime-time show is hardly up against strong competition either: its challenger on BBC1 is the sitcom Keeping Up Appearances, which also hits the 10.5m mark.
