What Is It?

The directorial debut of actor and writer Don McKellar - co-writer of Thirty-Two Short Films About Glenn Gould - who also wrote and stars in this movie. An unlikely comedy drama about the last six hours on Earth.

Who's In It?

As well as McKellar, as a man who wants to spend his last night alone, Sarah Oh as a woman struggling to be home for her last supper, and Callum Keith Rennie as Craig, who is desperate to fulfil his most dearly held sexual fantasies before it's too late, it also features more famous faces, including Genevieve Bujold and Francois Girard. And it boasts a rare cameo by David Cronenberg as an uptight gas company engineer.

"McKellar wisely avoids both the traditional panic of apocalypse movies and the maundering piety of a Deep Impact, aiming instead for a kind of giddy stoicism," Anthony Quinn, The Independent.
