Harry Potter and the Cursed Child tickets: 250,000 more to be released

Following five-star reviews across the board from the critics

Following some sterling reviews from theatre critics, many fans were left frustrated knowing Harry Potter and the Cursed Child was completely sold out.

Well, worry no more fellow Muggles, as 250,000 more tickets for the production at the Palace Theatre in London are to be released, its run extended through until December 2017.

Tickets for the two-part play will go on sale Thursday 4 August at 11am, prices starting at £15 per part, with 300 tickets per performance costing under £20. To see the whole performance, you will have to purchase two tickets, one per each half.

For those unable to get tickets, 40 tickets will be released every Friday for the following weeks’ performances. These are given out through a raffle system, the chosen people securing tickets for part one and two, priced at £20 per part (£40 in total).

The script for The Cursed Child is set to be released later this week, on the 31 July, with pre-orders at Waterstones alone reaching over 100,000. Meanwhile, reviews for the theatre production have been overwhelmingly positive, including a five-star review from The Independent.
