Daniel Craig is set to reprise the role of James Bond in a new sketch for Comic Relief.

The actor has previously played the dapper MI6 spy in Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall and Spectre, and is set to star in one last 007 feature, No Time to Die.

Craig will feature in the forthcoming Red Nose Day special for Comic Relief, appearing alongside comedian Catherine Tate.

The sketch will see Tate revive her character of Nan from Noughties sketch hit The Catherine Tate Show.

In the scene, the foul-mouthed curmudgeon finds herself cleaning the office of the head of the Secret Intelligence Service, where she soon comes face-to-face with Bond himself.

Airing on BBC One this Friday (19 March), the Comic Relief special will take the form of a three-hour variety show hosted by Sir Lenny Henry.
