Tonight will see the newest batch of unsuspecting (or rather fully suspecting, but too fame hungry to let bugs put them off) celebrities enter the Aussie jungle for yet another series of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!

The contestants have now been officially confirmed after weeks of rumours flying around the internet like an out of control campfire.

Ant and Dec will be back to host and have already been getting into the part, dressing up as castaways for a promotional photo. What we’d really like to see is the dastardly duo taking part in the show themselves, which surely has to happen at some stage (take note, ITV bosses).

So as the countdown to the 2015 launch begins, here’s what we know so far:

When does it start?

Tune in to ITV at 9pm on Sunday 15 November for the first hour-long show. It will be broadcast nightly thereafter so prepare to get addicted once again. Sister show I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here Now! will follow at 10pm on ITV2.

(ITV)

Who are the new campmates?

An eclectic mix this year from soap stars to TV presenters and sportsmen. Take a look at the line-up in full:

What’s the latest on the Bushtucker Trials?

These are always supremely traumatic, and this year looks set to be the most gruesome yet. One trial, apparently called ‘Sun Scream’, will see contestants smear vile things like fish guts over each other.

Sheep’s testicles might also be playing a part, if the Daily Star is to be believed. These poor ‘celebrities’ will have the genitals dangled into their mouths as they do the limbo, before eating the likes of camel penis porridge and bush pig semen. Someone pass a sick bag.
