Show all 12Bullard has played for teams including Wigan Athletic, Fulham, Hull City, Ipswich Town and Milton Keynes Dons. At Wigan he scored ten goals in 145 appearances in the league.
He hung up his boots in 2012 due to problems with his knees and has since been on the hunt for a new challenge.
He says he has has enjoyed the past series of I'm A Celebrity and that his friends and family can't believe that this time around they'll be watching him.
Bullard thinks that the challenges he will face in the jungle will prove far harder than any on the pitch.
He says: "I didn’t find my football hard at all. It was a boyhood dream and the jungle is totally different.
"I hate snakes, spiders, everything. I don’t like one coming near me, let alone touching me or me having to put it in my mouth!"
However, he is prepared to seize the opportunity and give it all he's got.
