The comedian and actor has recorded a message for the contestants that will air in full on Love Island: Aftersun at 10pm on ITV2, after the main episode has aired.
“I’m loving this season of Love Island,” Schumer says. “I want to give a shout-out to Maura. She’s just like, my homie. I feel very connected to her.”
Tonight’s episode of Love Island will also feature a special appearance from Craig David, who surprises the Islanders by turning up to perform a DJ set so they can enjoy some music at the villa.
Ahead of the episode, the R&B star shared his own message where he encouraged viewers to be kind to the contestants on social media.
“These are real people in there. It’s real to people. So just be mindful as always,” he said. “Be mindful that these are human beings. They can be fragile.”
