Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman's Good Omens set to air on BBC Radio 4 at Christmas
The 1990 Armageddon novel has never been adapted to radio before
Sir Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman's Arrmageddon novel Good Omens is to be adapted for the radio for the first time.
The 1990 book tells the story of angel and demon Aziraphale and Crowley who team up to try and save the world from an impending apocalypse.
Mark Heap and Peter Serafinowicz will star in the leads for the play, set to air on BBC Radio 4 as a "splendid Christmas treat" in December.
Other actors on board for the audio series come from TV shows including Game of Thrones, Peep Show, Ripper Street and Sherlock.
Gaiman and Pratchett will make cameo appearances themselves, alongside Colin Morgan, Louise Brealey, Simon Jones, Julia Deakin, Clive Russell, Phil Davis, Mark Benton and Arsher Ali.

Show all 10Broadcast dates are yet to be announced, but listeners can expect five parts across one week before an hour-long Saturday finale.
Gaiman's Neverwhere was adapted for radio last year, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and James McAvoy.
Its director, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy's Dirk Maggs, will also be behind Good Omens, which was proposed as a TV series in 2011 but never reached screens.
