With seemingly every citizen of Girona putting photos of the Game of Thrones season 6 set on Instagram and the rest of the world scanning them for spoilers, the team behind the HBO show have apparently started intentionally misleading people for their own enjoyment.

A White Walker was spotted in a window in Girona’s Old Town where the show is filming, though it’s very unlikely the undead have made it as far as King’s Landing and are pensively staring out of castles.

The prank was innocent enough, but god forbid they start sneaking in Jon Snow dummies (though there might be actual good news on that front anyway).

Season 6 spoilers have been coming thick and fast lately [STOP READING NOW IF YOU DON’T WANT TO HEAR THEM] with comic actor Kevin Eldon spotted filming scenes over the weekend.

Fellow Brit Richard E. Grant has also joined the cast, playing his manager in a travelling theatre troupe, which also includes The Babadook’s Essie Davis.

Production on the show has moved away from Croatia this year, with the bulk of the season being filmed in Spain and Northern Ireland.

Game of Thrones season 6 is expected to hit HBO and Sky Atlantic in April 2016.
