This Unreal Engine 4 rendering of Monica's apartment is the closest you'll get to a Friends video game

However, the bedrooms haven't been programmed yet

Craving your next Friends fix? Well, one tech genius has recreated Monica’s apartment in virtual reality using Unreal Engine 4, a video-game engine used in many popular games.

From photos on the fridge to the New York sun shining through the window, it is all there (except the bedrooms, as they haven’t been programmed yet).

If you were ever wanting to play a Friends video-game this is probably the closest you will ever get, and the developer has said a launcher version may be available at some stage in the future.

The video-game rendition of Monica’s apartment was created as part of a 12-week university project by YouTuber 5teven94, according to The Verge.

In other Friends news, the whole gang (minus Matthew Perry) appeared together on TV to pay tribute to the late sitcom director James Burrows.

On the night, the five of them tackled rumours about their “no-sleeping with each other” contract, discussed how they prepared for each episode and addressed the question of how Monica and Rachel could afford such an amazing flat.
