You: Season 2 Official Trailer

A scene from season two of Netflix’s hit stalker thriller YOU is leaving fans feeling rather nauseated.

The series starring Penn Badgley as serial killer Joe Goldberg returned on Boxing Day and shows the character finding new victims in LA.

While YOU is known for being particularly ruthless when it comes to gory scenes, one particular moment had fans reaching for the sick bucket.

Joe (now using the name Will Bettelheim) is being hunted by a man named Jasper, who is owed money by the person whose identity Joe stole.

When Jasper attacks Joe, he retaliates and stabs him with a sharp piece of metal, killing him.

To get rid of the body, Joe feeds Jasper’s body through a meat grinder and distributes the remains into waste bags.

“Like I said, You season 2 is incredible. But I really need to yell about *that* moment in episode 2 that almost made me puke. It is ART. And it is SO WRONG. I can NEVER UNSEE IT,” one viewer tweeted.

“Okay I think I’m gonna puke. I needed to fast forward that part with Jasper UGHHH,” another added.

“OMFG I know what scene you’re talking about and I was EATING WHEN I SAW IT. I won’t be eating ever again,” one replied.

Another wrote: “Joe makes me freakin nauseous. What the hell, I literally feel the need to puke. What a bloody pyschopants.”

The new season of YOU has received positive reviews from critics, with The Independent awarding it four stars and singling out Badgley’s performance.

“Badgley continues to deliver a strong performance as Joe,” our critic said. “His face never stops working, expressing the control Joe so desperately seeks while letting some of his most unscripted emotions (joy, love, despair when confronted with his darkest deeds) shine through.

“Throughout the series, his portrayal of Joe is unforgiving, highlighting his character’s true nature and shying away from any romanticising.”

YOU seasons one and two are available to stream on Netflix now.
