DVD: Mumbai Calling, Retail & Rental, (Sony)
Sanjeev Bhaskar is as genial as ever in this sitcom as Kenny Gupta from Wembley, sent to India to turn around a failing call centre.
Cultural idiosyncracies (on both sides) are mocked with the lightness Bhaskar showed in Goodness Gracious Me, while Nitin Ganatra manages to make Dev, the type of wannabe lothario who is usually insufferable, a thoroughly likeable chap. Nothing special, but you'll be hard-pushed not to smile through it.
