THINK of computer music and eyes will glaze (or light up, according to temperament) with visions of grand schemes in Paris. A more down-to-earth application, currently touring Britain, is the Drake Research Project's use of technology to enable people with physical disabilities to create and play music. Results are striking: musicians use their feet to compose, dancers without sight explore new ways of moving.
