Ocean wildlife protected

Wildlife protection across a vast area of ocean has been declared around South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands.

The zone around the UK Overseas Territory in the Southern Ocean covers 400,000 sq miles, and includes an area where fishing will be banned. The move was welcomed by environmentalists but will fuel tensions with Argentina.
