More than 200 animals, including kangaroos, flamingos, red pandas and white lions, were seized from a private zoo 60 miles north of Bangkok yesterday.
The owners had imported more than 50 species from Africa and elsewhere for 10 years, police said. They were to be sold domestically or smuggled abroad.
Thailand is a hub of the black market for protected animals.
