FIFA 19 Official Trailer with UEFA Champions League

Fifa 19 has revealed the players who failed to get into its top 20 in the world, with many of the world's best players missing out.

Developers EA Sports has been gradually releasing the top 100 best players on Fifa, ahead of the release date of the game later this month.

The final 20 is due out from Fifa soon. But the latest round-up is almost as useful: it gives an insight into the various surprising players who have failed to make the top ranking.

It includes the game's players from 30-21. Cutting in at 30th is Coutinho, and the ranking continues all the way through to Paulo Dybala at 21st.

But perhaps most surprising is Mohamed Salah, who is ranked 27th. That's despite his having a good claim to be one of the best players in the world, and having been given the PFA Player of the Year award this year after an explosive first season.

Salah has very strong pace and dribbling abilities, at 92 and 89 respectively. But the Liverpool striker's other rankings let him down, including a 72 on his physical ratings.

"The Egyptian winger had a sensational, record-breaking debut season with the Merseyside club, and it’s a safe bet that he’ll continue to impress in year two," EA's description reads. "As the song his fans sing for him goes, Salah is often seen “running down the wing” with his 92 Pace and 89 Dribbling ratings, leaving a trail of disappointed defenders along the way.

"He plays well with teammates, but Salah’s goal tally last season is proof that he is just as dangerous when going for goal utilising his 84 Shooting rating."

Other players making up the top 30 include Edinson Cavani, Mats Hummels, David Silva, Marc-André ter Stegen, Isco, Marcelo and Hugo Lloris. The full list – including player ratings and the rest of the top 100 – can be found on EA's website.
