Fifa 20 player ratings: Fans left frustrated as full rankings fail to appear online

Fifa 20's full player rankings have been delayed after the website failed to update.

Developers EA Sports had promised that the full listing of the world's best players would be revealed at 3pm UK time, on 9 September.

That time came and went – but the special website intended to show them off is still failing to load.

It means that the full rankings of the 100 best players on the game, as well as their stats, is still unknown.

Some tweets from official EA Sports accounts in different languages did reveal the top 10. But they linked out to the official website to see the full list – which did not work.

All week, the website has included a countdown to the final reveal. That has now stopped at zero, but nothing has appeared, and all of the players still have question marks next to their names.

The problem has led to a flurry of angry tweets directed at the official EA Sports accounts, mocking the delay and requesting that the full ratings appear as soon as possible.

That official top 10 is made up of:

  1. Lionel Messi, FC Barcelona (94)
  2. Cristiano Ronaldo, Piemonte Calcio (93)
  3. Neymar Jr., PSG  (92)
  4. Eden Hazard, Real Madrid (91)
  5. Kevin De Bruyne, Manchester City (91)
  6. Jan Oblak, Atlético de Madrid (91)
  7. Virgil van Dijk, Liverpool (90)
  8. Mohamed Salah, Liverpool  (90)
  9. Luka Modric, Real Madrid (90)
  10. Marc-André ter Stegen, FC Barcelona  (90)

The announcement of the full list came as EA Sports also revealed the release date of the demo of the new game.

The full game will come out on 27 September, on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
