Games Review: SingStar Abba

After the release of summer’s box-office bonanza Mamma Mia!, it was only a matter of time before Sony got on to Abba’s representatives on earth to suggest creating a SingStar featuring the Swedish band’s back catalogue of bestselling songs.

The result is the usual karaoke-fest, although the PS3’s highdef visuals are wasted on the lo-fi videos from Abba’s heyday. All of the band’s greatest hits are here, plus a few lesserknown gems that have been dragged out of the archives. It’s a classic collection that should go down a storm in sitting rooms across the country this Christmas.
