Games review: Sniper: Ghost Warrior
£39.99
Format Xbox 360
Publisher City Interactive
Perfect pacing, tense stealth sections and cunning enemies, Sniper: Ghost Warrior, sadly, has none of these. Instead, a game theoretically all about sneaking into position for that perfect shot is ruined by unrealistically eagle-eyed guards who are, not only able to spot your position from half a mile away, but also capable of landing long distance machinegun fire. Mission objectives are similarly baffling, often leaving the player unsure of the nextmove. A pity as the graphics are serviceable and the sniping mechanism itself is engaging. An opportunity missed.
