Reportedly, Brad Pitt may star as Dark Void’s protagonistWill, a pilot who crashes in the Bermuda Triangle and ends up battling aliens, in the film-adaptation of the title. Games on screen don’t exactly have a great pedigree, with Doom, Max Payne and Resident Evil all being critically panned, but theywere at least good games – Dark Void is not. The premise of a fastpaced, jet-pack shooter sounds promising, but the controls are frustrating and the graphics are crude. There is some fun to be had with the jet pack but overall, this game fails to reach its potential.
