New travel guide releases this month are dominated by the Discover series from Lonely Planet, a full color guide now available around the world. Other releases include a journey on Britain's railways and a new roundup from Travel + Leisure magazine.

The new full-color guides feature "best of" sites and itineraries, suggestions from insiders and revamped maps for those seeking a highlights-based experience.
