Dominic Raab defends being ‘forthright’ with staff but insists he is not a bully
The deputy prime minister’s conduct is being investigated by a senior lawyer following a series of complaints by officials who worked for him
Dominic Raab has said he believes “heart and soul” that he is not a bully but defended his “forthright” approach to his work.
The deputy prime minister is under investigation over eight formal complaints about his behaviour as foreign secretary, Brexit secretary and during his first stint as justice secretary.
Mr Raab insisted he is “focused on the job” and there is “no point in complaining” about an investigation he requested.
