Instagram account collects moment commuters missed their train

There’s nothing worse than reaching the train door when you’re in a rush only for it to close when you’re inches away.

However, having someone capture your embarrassing moment on film definitely makes it even more humiliating.

The missedyabus Instagram account is dedicated to cruelly and comically posting videos of unlucky commuters in Sydney, Australia who didn’t reach their train in time.

The account currently has 24,000 followers, clearly made up of thousands of people who enjoy indulging in a regular dose of schadenfreude.

While it isn’t nice to make fun of others, there’s no denying that the videos are oddly satisfying to watch.

We've all found ourselves in that situation, being stared out by strangers on the other side of the train's closed doors as you watch your prospect of arriving at work on time slowly leave the platform.

The Instagram account doesn't hold back with its mocking captions either.

In a video that showed a man on a scooter having to swerve the train as the doors shut, the caption repetitively reads: "Keep rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin (what?)", referencing the Limp Bizkit song "Rollin'".

A lot of the people caught on camera attempt to look unfazed, as in the case of the video below.

While this Instagram account continues to grow in popularity, the debate of whether it's morally correct to film people without their knowledge definitely comes into question.

However, the majority of the comments left below the videos appear to be revelling in the fun.

"I legit idolise this page, I can't wait to make it on," one person wrote.

"That's hilarious lol. I don't miss public transport," another commented.
