Seen ... who is turning wildlife into art today (apart from Damien Hirst)? Back at the Natural History Museum itself, the Wildlife Photographer of the Year 1997 exhibition continues, featuring more than 150 of the year's winning and commended nature snaps.

To 28 Feb, Cromwell Road, London SW7, 0171-938 9123.

Had ... your Bacon? "Francis Bacon: The Human Body", as you might guess, surveys the late, great painter's unblinking eye for the flesh at its most vulnerable. Surprisingly, for a display of works by one of the country's greatest post-war painters, this Hayward exhibition is the first major showing of Bacon's work in the United Kingdom for more than a decade. The exhibition has been curated by David Sylvester.

To 5 April, Hayward Gallery, South Bank, London SE1, 0171-261 0127.
