What are you wearing right now?

A homage to M & S! All black - it is safest when one is not the smallest - and some good ethnic silver necklaces.

Who's your style icon?

My neighbour Brooke Litchfield who just has style, without effort, in spadefuls.

What can't you live without?

Very little - but I do love my iPhone. Sorry!

Describe the best outfit you have ever worn

Any outfit that I can completely forget I am wearing and therefore concentrate on real life.

What's in your wardrobe?

Far too many clothes I never wear but might ...

What is in your make-up bag?

I don't have one - I look silly and much older with make up on.

What's in your handbag?

Wallet, keys, oyster card, one of those fold-up shopping bags, notebook and pencil and of course my iPhone!

If you could live in any decade, style-wise which would it be?

Now.

How often do you look in the mirror?

As little as possible.

Any fashion confessions you want to share with us?

I have absolutely no interest in fashion or clothing unless I am using clothes to tell a character's story. Then I become VERY interested in whatever is appropriate to that character. I most recently worked on Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes developing the costumes for Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law and Rachel McAdams which was a really interesting project.

What's your secret style tip?

Well as you may have guessed I don't have one for myself - in my work though, often "less is more".

Sherlock Holmes, released on two disc Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Copy multipack on the 17 May
