Coveted designer Kinder Aggugini is set to open a temporary store in London's elegant shopping district, Mount Street, later this summer.

The St Martin's graduate, who has designed for luxury houses, Calvin Klein, Versace and Costume National, was selected by The Mount Street Association to open his special flash boutique in their enviable location.

Situated in a basement the Aggugini boutique has been likened to Dickens's 'Old Curosity Shop' - hosting a cornucopia of fascinating artefacts. These will include one-off finished garments from his collections, a carefully edited selection of previous season signature pieces, photographic images, artist's paintings, and a unique selection of vintage Chanel jewellery from a private collector.

"Ultimately, I want there to be enough to browse in the store," he says. "It should be so much more than just fashion."

The Kinder Aggugini flash boutique at 35 South Audley Street, Mayfair, will be open 19 September to 31 October, opening Thursday to Saturday, other days will be by appointment with sales@aggugini.com.
