British supermodel and mother-of-one Jourdan Dunn has teamed up with Marks and Spencer to launch her first ever kidswear collection, inspired and modelled by her son Riley.
The 25-year-old Burberry model and Vogue cover star has credited her six-year-old son, who suffers with sickle-cell anaemia blood disorder, as the motivation behind all her hard work
Fittingly called Lil’ LonDunn by Jourdan Dunn, the 22-piece capsule collection is aimed at boys and girls between age five and 16, and in celebration of her love for her hometown, although full images from the collection are yet to be released, it reportedly has a super urban feel.
This collection will help her efforts to raise awareness for charities that are involved with work with the genetic disease which she strongly supports.
“It's something people don't really know about, due to the fact it's genetic, so it doesn't have the high profile of HIV or malaria,” she told Sunday Times Style. “Riley looks just like a normal boy, but I can't get away from the fact he has a serious disease.”
“My collection is inspired by London and has the cool, urban vibe that I look for when choosing clothes for Riley,” she said.
