KICKERS, the company that was started in France in 1970, is making a comeback and the original Seventies Kickers with their heavy soles, side tabs and the leather fleurette have become a cult classic. Now they have been given an update with a coat of shiny silver leather to be worn with the current crop of futuristic clothes made of reflective fabrics resembling mercury.

These shoes are as close as you will get to disco glamour if you are not at ease in a stiletto heel. They are pounds 49.99 from Schuh Clothing for Feet (0506-460 250), and from the end of September will be available at Shellys nationwide.
