Jennifer Lawrence has conquered the acting world at just 25. But it's not just the world of film she has enthralled, the fashion industry has also fallen at her feet, eager to dress Hollywood's most likeable star.

No-one can dispute Lawrence's acting abilities, her numerous awards including an Academy Award are testament to that, but it doesn't really explain quite why the world is so taken with the young actress.

Style-wise despite a few slightly shaky outings, Lawrence's fashion choices have been flawless. She has a tried and tested formula which means she sticks to very classic pieces in neutral colours that gives her a sense of timelessness.

It's no surprise then that she quickly caught the attention of Dior who signed her up to be the face of its Miss Dior campaign.

Jennifer Lawrence for Miss Dior (Dior)

"Like everyone else, I first discovered Jennifer Lawrence in the roles she played in action movies, I was, of course, struck by her incredible on-screen presence in these blockbuster films, but also impressed by her powerful interpretations of subtler, more rounded characters" commented Raf Simons, creative director of woman's wear for Christian Dior.

"Her youth and her classic beauty, but also her force of character and the complexity she's capable of embodying at such a young age, are, for me, both unique and very moving."

On working with Simons, Lawrence said: "I'm very excited at the idea of working with Dior and wearing Raf Simons' new creations. His debut ready-to-wear and haute couture have distilled all the glamour of Dior into the modern era."
