Victoria Beckham’s fashion business doubled to £30.39 million last year as the designer sold £83,000 worth of stock a day, it’s been revealed.

According to The Sun, the singer-turned-designer doubled the previous year’s sales figures of £15.76 million and saw a £1.3million profit, which is likely to increase in 2014.

This, however, comes as no surprise considering her dresses cost more than £2000 each and her handbags around £1000 each.

The 40-year-old designer’s company was crowned Brand of the Year at the British Fashion Awards earlier this month following five years of success.

Victoria Beckham Ltd seems to have gone from strength to strength since it launched in 2008 when it made its debut at New York Fashion Week with only a collection of dresses.

It has now expanded to a fully-rounded business that counts four collections a year, handbags, sunglasses, denim, a sister line titled ‘Victoria, Victoria Beckham’ and is set to launch a shoe collection in spring next year.

The mother-of-four has grown her business with the help of the Beckhams’ long-time business partner and media advisor Simon Fuller, who’s also behind David’s upcoming menswear label.

The designer operates a transactional website, recently opened a store on Dover Street in Mayfair, London and is set to launch a line of nail polishes with Nails Inc in early 2015.

But besides her successful fashion sales, Posh has also sold 600 unwanted items of clothing on TheOutnet.com in aid of charity this year and was announced as a UNAIDs Goodwill Ambassador.
