Stanley Tucci reveals daily lockdown routine and shares recipes to pair with Negroni
Actor went viral in April for his cocktail recipes
Stanley Tucci has shared his daily routine while in quarantine – and it involves plenty of cooking and a daily cocktail hour for which he makes his now-famous Negroni.
Last month, the 59-year-old actor went viral after sharing a video of himself making a Negroni cocktail, which he called a “quarantucci“.
Now, Tucci has revealed what dishes he is pairing with the famous drink in a quarantine diary for The Atlantic.
The Devil Wears Prada star is living in London during lockdown with his wife, Felicity Blunt, their two young children and Tucci’s three older children from his late wife, Kate Tucci.
“For the most part, things have been going very well,” Tucci writes, adding: “meaning no one has murdered anyone yet, although I am sure one of them is plotting my demise as I type this”.
Tucci explains that his day begins at 7am with a breakfast of a double espresso, orange juice and cereal with a banana and almond milk.
He begins cooking at 11am, on this occasion choosing to prepare chicken stock with leftover carcasses.
Then, at 4.45pm, he decides to make a pre-dinner Negroni and for dinner, he makes Pasta Alla Norma, containing aubergine, tomato sauce, and rigatoni.
