The Steam Network digital download chart for the week ending Sunday, June 27 received a battering at the hands of deep discounts during the site's summer sale. Not yet a year old, Left 4 Dead 2 regained top spot after price cuts reduced it to just over $10 / €10, and the story was much the same elsewhere.

The network's Summer of Sale lasts until July 4, with many reductions going the distance but others valid for one day only, enticing PC gamers to check back often.

THQ's Complete Pack is a bumper game bundle, available on several other digital download sites such as Impulse and GamersGate, but with 20 titles included for the price of one new release it's no surprise to see it here.

Of the charting titles, APB, Sniper: Ghost Warrior and Transformers: War for Cybertron survived the bargain onslaught. The cops and robbers online multiplayer of APB looks like it will have a healthy userbase by the time it's released on July 2.

01) Left 4 Dead 2
02) THQ Complete Pack
03) Counter-Strike: Source
04) Call of Duty Pack
05) BioShock 2
06) APB All Points Bulletin
07) R esident Evil 5
08) Dragon Age: Origins + Awakening
09) Sniper: Ghost Warrior
10) Transformers: War for Cybertron
Chart positions reflect total revenue gained by the Steam Network.
