Current Twitter trends: 'I wasn't cheating,' Valedictorian, 'Predator'

"#iwasntcheating," tweet hundreds of users trying to explain their cheating ways using the most talked-about topic on Twitter on the morning of October 19.

"#iwasntcheating" is in first place on Twitter's top topics and is followed by the hashtags "#wssumemories" in second place and "#theamazingrace" in fourth.

"Valedictorian," a student with the highest ranking among fellow graduates, is in fourth place and "GED" (short for General Educational Development) is in eighth.

Romantic comedy " Hitch" is in fifth place, "Teeny" is in sixth place and Don "Draper," a character from American TV series Mad Men, is in seventh place.

"Predator" is in ninth place thanks to posts about the DVD/Blu-ray release of the science fiction film of the same name and tweets about an article on technology blog Gizmodo, "The Piracy Lawsuit That Could Ground The CIA's Deadly Predator Drones."

The Spanish word for thunder, "Truenos," makes it into tenth position.
