The veteran commentator may have hung up his microphone in the real world, but the series that bears the name of John Madden carries on from strength to strength. Unsurprisingly for an EA Sports game, Madden NFL 2010 is hardly a revolution from last year’s title, with the developers instead focusing on adding polish to the hugely successful franchise. Still, there have been gameplay improvements, such as a new tackling system, and the visuals have also received a boost, with increased activity on the side of the field turning the realism up a notch.
