The NBA is back and with it one of the most comprehensive apps produced by any sports league.

Given the sheer volume of games - 30 teams playing an 82-game schedule - League Pass is simply a must have for any hoops fan and by far the best way to catch up with the action on and off the hardwood; especially on this side of the Atlantic where the vast majority of games take place in the middle of the night.

You can watch any game to have been played this season, in full, with home or away commentary, alongside a play-by-play or with a full stats list updated as they happen.

If you want a brief snapshot of the action there are shorter highlights, usually available within half an hour of the game ending.

There is also the option to watch NBA TV, either as it happens or by catching up with one of their many magazine shows. There is a pretty comprehensive archive of classic games, always being added to as well.

If you just follow one team rather than the whole league there is also the option to buy a team pass, or just single games.

If you are a hoops fan it's a must-have.
