Games Review: Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts
Xbox 360, Microsoft, £49.99
The subtitle of the latest Banjo-Kazooie outing acts as an early warning that this isn’t going to deliver the platforming action you might have been expecting.
Instead, we have a vehicular romp that sees players flying, driving and sailing through levels collecting jigsaw pieces against a beautiful, open-world cartoon backdrop. What’s really fun is that you get to build your own boat/car/helicopter in a simple-to-navigate garage, but the game’s long load times soon become a major irritant.
