Games Review: Battlestations: Pacific
PC, Xbox 360, Eidos Interactive, £49.99
It’s cockpits at dawn in the latest Battlestations fight-and-flight sim. But aswell as taking on the Japanese in a post-Pearl Harbor showdown, players get the chance to play as the enemy, exploring the “what ifs” that might have occurred had the Second World War had a very different ending. Unlike the previous Battlestations, this explosive adventure gives newbies more of a fighting chance thanks to a helpful tutorial that was notable in its absence before. High-flying and action-packed.
