Games Review: CSI: NY
PC, Ubisoft, £19.99
My most shameful confession is that I watch six episodes of CSI every week. CSI: New York is my favourite (no David Caruso to spoil the action), but does the PC version pass muster?
Only if robotic point-and-click titles are your idea of entertainment, because while there’s a series of brutal murders to solve, the process of endless interrogation and paltry puzzles takes the excitement out of the chase. While the game’s characters actually look like their televisual counterparts, that’s not enough to breathe life into it.
