“Game Over” – two words which appear regularly throughout Treasure’s sequel toNintendo 64 title Sin and Punishment. Luckily, the fast pacing, startling variety of well-drawn locations, gigantic bosses and nicely implemented score multiplier system all ensure you’ll hit “Continue” time and again. Successfully guiding the game’s protagonists through the maelstrom of incoming fire requires unflappable reflexes and dexterity but, as with all good shoot-em-ups, the satisfaction of toppling your high scores proves too addictive to walk away from. A fantastic blast from the past which suffers only from somewhat watered-down multiplayer options.
